An old-fashioned white bread like Grandma used to make. Serve warm with butter and jelly for a real treat!
Recipes and Preparation;
Just add one 12 oz can of beer to one package of the mix. Stir together and pour into a greased 5" x 9" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Remove from oven and cover with REAL melted butter. Return to oven for 5 minutes. Cool before cutting.
Variations:
- Add nuts and/or dried fruits - raisins, cranberries, apricots, etc.
- Make a rich cheese bread by stirring in 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan or cheddar cheese when you add the beer.
