Cooking Tallow, pint

We've partnered with Open Season Farms, located just down the road from Blue Silo, to bring you a line of tallow-based products made with fat harvested from our beef. 

Cooking Tallow is handcrafted and rendered twice, leaving a slight beefy odor, making it best suited for use in the kitchen. 

The uses for tallow are almost endless!

Tallow has a high smoke point and can be used to saute, fry and roast. Use it as an alternative to seed oils. Makes incredible homemade fries!

This product was rendered in an un-inspected kitchen. Use it for cooking or in homemade natural skin care, the possibilities are truly endless!
